Jacklin won eight events on the European Tour between 1972 and 1982.

Professional golfer and former World No. 1, who was one of the sport's leading figures from the mid 1970s to the mid 1990s. At age 19 he finished second at The Open Championship. Ballesteros won five major tournaments between 1979 and 1988, including The Open Championship three times, and The Masters twice. He was also successful in the Ryder Cup, helping the European team to five wins both as a player and captain. He is best known for his great short game, and his erratic driving of the golf ball.

He was the PGA Player of the Year for 1981, and that year finished second on the world Rankings. In 1982 Rogers won the PGA Grand Slam of Golf. After one further PGA Tour win in 1983 he left the tour in 1988.
